About Barclay Commons

Barclay Commons is located in the Hayestown area of Danbury, minutes away from Candlewood Lake and Danbury Hospital and approximately 70 minutes from New York City.  The community feels like a small New England village with brick walkways and home exteriors vary from brick to vinyl giving each building a distinctive appearance.  Barclay Commons takes pride in maintaining its gardens, mature landscaping and natural pond.  Construction began in 1986 and was completed in 1991 with a pool, pool house and a total of 106 homes.

Barclay Commons offers a variety of well thought out floor plans and styles.  The styles include single one level units, with two bedrooms and two baths, upper-level ranch units, with two bedrooms, two baths and a loft, traditional town house units on two levels with two bedrooms, two and half baths, tri-level units with three bedrooms with two and half baths.  Homes offer outdoor space, consisting either of a patio or balcony, and two parking spaces with one detached garage and one designated numbered space.

Prospective buyers should note Barclay Commons is pet friendly, permitting one dog and two cats per unit.  Dogs are to be registered with the property manager.  Units must be owner occupied for two years prior to being rented with restrictions that no more than 20% of units are permitted as rentals.  Please contact Richard Stoeppel of RRS Management with any questions regarding rental restrictions or any other issue.
